Elias Garcia Wiki

Elias Garcia is a flyweight fighter who trains out of Corpus Christi, Texas. Of his four professional wins, two have been finishes with one submission and one T/KO.


Garcia began his amateur career in 2010, but would lose by decision. Over the next sixteen months, he would go on a six fight winning streak including five finishes. He would also pick up amateur titles for Texas Featherweight and Premier Combat Group.  He would lose his final fight as an amateur when was knocked out in the first minute of his first title defense. He would turn professional in late 2012. In his first three fights, he would go 3-0 with two finishes. 


In early 2013, Elias would be picked up by Legacy FC. He made his promotional debut at LFC 20 against Matthew Schnell and would pick up a unanimous decision. He was  next set to take on Henry Cejudo at LFC 27 but Cejudo couldnt make weight. The fight was rescheduled again for Legacy 31. Garcia broke his hand the first round with a cannon shot to Cejudo's head wobbling him to the ground. After that Henry could only do what he is best at and go to his wrestling skills. Cejudo wrestled Garcia to the ground for the next two rounds where Garcia would go to his feet every time he was put on the matt. Garcia loss by decision but did outstanding going all three rounds with 2 broken metacarpals. 


His next bout came after Henry Cejudo back out the fight against Damacio Paige for a Title Fight for LFC. Cejudo couldn't make weight again. No one would offer to step in the ring with Damacio until Garcia was asked if he would take the fight. Elias Smash Garcia would go all 3 rounds with a Veteran UFC Fighter and was finally submitted with 13 seconds left in the 3 round. You can see the Big Heart and Strength from this Warrior. Do not forget his name because you will hear of this Beast with Heart for a long time. It will not be long until Dana White calls his number. His next bout is on Feb. 27 2015 against Ryan RipTide Hollis.
